The Radial PowerPre is a modular microphone preamp in the form of a 500 Series module. Equipped with a vintage Hammond broadcast output transformer, the PowerPre delivers nothing but characteristically rich, satisfyingly warm tones, all while any unwanted noise is kept at bay by the unique AccuState level pot which automatically optimises the signal to noise ratio. There's also a 100Hz high-pass filter for skimming excess lows and, using the fitted Vox switch, three different settings can be toggled that each inject the sound with even more character, allowing you to accentuate vocals or add a full dose of punch to an electric guitar at will.
